This soft rock duo from Australia (formed in Melbourne originally) features guitarist and singer/songwriter Graham Russell as well as Russell Hitchcock as lead vocalist. The band released several hit albums in the 1980s like Lost in Love featuring singles such as “Every Woman in the World” and “All Out of Love”. In 1981 they released the album The One That You Love with a title track as well as “Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)”, and “Sweet Dreams”. All of these went No 1. On the Billboard. And their popularity continued with the 1982 album Now and Forever featuring “Even the Nights are Better”, “Young Love”, and “Two Less Lonely People in the World”.
In the 90’s they released a few albums such as The Earth Is, The Vanishing Race (dedicated to American Indian struggles), and News from Nowhere. During this decade Air Supply became very popular in Southeast Asian countries especially.
In the early millennium they began touring many parts of Asia (as well as a few venues in the US) and released several other albums. Russell even released a solo album entitled The Future. Many of their music has been featured in films, and in May of 2010 they released their newest album Mumbo Jumbo.
