Long away from his Scottish roots, he has found great success in entertainment. He has been an Emmy Award nominee fro his late night talk show and has won the Peabody Award for the same show. Before becoming a late night TV host, he was best known for his role on The Drew Carey Show, playing the office boss, Nigel Wick.
