While Tosh began touring the comedy club circuit immediately after college, he got his start at the Just For Laughs theatre in Montreal. His first big break came in 2001 with his performance on the Late Show with David Letterman. He followed up with appearances on Comedy Central, the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He hosted a late night comedy show called Ten and was featured as a spokesperson in several Taco Bell commercials. On Comedy Central he’s appeared on Comedy Central Presents and his own stand up special called Daniel Tosh: Completely Serious. In 2011, he released his second stand up called Happy Thoughts. Although his jokes are often thought to be ‘pushing the envelope’, racist, or sexist, Tosh denies being misogynistic and racist claiming that he just finds those jokes funny. He also has his own internet show called Tosh.0. Tosh describes a comic’s routine life on the road as “Groundhog Day”, and has vowed to end his career on his 38th birthday May 29th, 2013.
