This American rock band consists of Phil Lesh and Bob Weir from The Grateful Dead, with Jeff Chimenti (pianist), John Kadlecik (guitar), Joe Russo (drummer), Sunshine Becker (vocals), and Jeff Pehrson. While Furthur plays many of the songs from The Grateful Dead, or in the style-of, they also include songs in their set lists on tour from bands like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin. As many of the members got their start as musicians in the bay area, it was only fitting to debut at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA. Performances took place on September 18th, 19th, and 20th. On September 23rd, their West Coast tour will begin starting at the Cuthbert Amphitheatre in Eugene, OR and will end at the Monterey County Fairgrounds on the 8th of October. Their East Coast/Midwest tour will begin on November 3rd in Manchester, NH and will end November 21 in Indianapolis, IN.
