Jackie Evancho is a child singer born in 2000 who rose to fame on the hit show (fifth season) of America’s Got Talent. As a young child she released the album Prelude to a Dream on YouTube which attracted interest and also enrolled in several talent compeititons. But it wasn’t until the age of 10 that she competed in America’s Got Talent and finished in second plce. She then released her EP O Holy Night and became the best-selling artist of 2010 and the youngest top-10 debut artist in history. She released another album Dream With Me in 2011 after which Billboard ranked her the top Classical Albums Artist for 2011. Since then she’s performed live at many prestigious arenas such as the National Christmas Tree lighting in Washingto, D.C., as well as a solo concert at Lincoln Center in NYC.
