But when a small-town girl stops him in his tracks, this hustler may just discover something to believe in. Leap of Faith is composed by Alan Menken with lyrics by Glenn Slater. Choreographed by Sergio Trujillo and directed by Christopher Ashley. Leap Of Faith is based on the 1992 American movie of the same name, which starred Steve Martin. The musical premiered in September 2010 in Los Angeles for a limited run through October, directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford. Other cast members include: Jessica Phillips, Kendra Kassebaum, Kecia Lewis Evans, Leslie Odom, and Krystal Joy Brown.
