Skrillex is the title that electronic dance music producer Sonny John Moore has donned for his music career. After he spent time in the American band, From First to Last, he embarked on a solo career in 2007 witht the Team Sleep Tour, and after with the American Press Tour. His debut album recorded in 2008 called Bells, was prouced with the help of Noah Shain. His EP Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites was released by Big Beat record labels. Moore hails from L.A. and now finds himself touring nationally by the age of 23. Barely three years since he reinvented himself as Skrillex, he is the figurehead for the current unprecendented explosion of electronic dance music--including high energy dubstep--into the middle American mainstream. His jittery sound which veers from turbocharged disco into a Justic/Daft Punk style are why he's taken dubstep's 'wobble' to an extreme.
