New rock band, Young the Giant is on tour! Get your tickets here at Prominent Ticket Service! Formed in Irvine in Southern California, the current members include Sameer Gadhia (founder), Jacob Tilley, Eric Cannata, Payam Doostzadeh, and Francois Comtois. While many of the members played in a band called The Jakes before the creation of Young the Giant. Young the Giant was signed with Roadrunner Records in 2009 and released its debut album in 2010. Their songs have already gained great radio and television play. In 2010 Young the Giant toured with bands like Minus the Bear and Steel Train. After their debut album was released in the US and the UK, the first single “My Body” peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Alternative Songs. Some other highlights for the band include headlining the Billboard Showcase, the Sasquatch! Music Festival, touring with Incubus in August 2011, and a performance at the VMA’s.
